PATCH WORK

My patchwork fascination came from a desire to utilize scraps from the shoe making process. The last sample pictured was an experiment with a special jig that combines computer stitching with laser cutting as a way to quickly construct precise overlays, without needing a high tolerance between the construction stitch and the cut edge of the overlay. Finding solutions for things to make with small scraps of leather remains a problem that I continue to construct solutions for
